And disliking it is our opinion. See, you do know why.

I barely come here anymore because its either cynical jaded fans, or new fans who love the sub-par newer stuff.............its irritating to hear it for 2 years straight.

And please, lets not call new fans "noobs" and say it condescendingly..........its really immature.

You know. Everyone does have their own opinion. Everyone knows that. The only thing is... I don't like how the people who enjoy gravity always say the same two things:

'Good music is opinion. No music is really better than the other'

and

'I like Gravity because it's a change from the other stuff'

Atleast the people who dislike Gravity can come up with some variety in their complaints.

Well, there's not a whole lot else you can use. I mean, with hating it, you can point out the various reasons why it sucks. With liking it, it's a lot harder. I mean, what are you going to say? "Well in this one it is clear they used a guitar. Guitars are good."

EDIT: yay typos.

i just want to defend that just because i'm a newbie on this forum doesn't mean that i became a fan after sot and gravity...i have been a fan for a long time. i just never got into joining forums...that is, until now. i agree that their old stuff are great but it doesn't mean that their future stuff can't be great.

you know bud, i didn't know people had to explain why they like an album. if you like an album, the music is why you like it. and to be quite honest, i could care less what other people's opinions are on the album. i have mine, and that's all i need. i don't need your expert opinion baby thief since you seem to be giving it all the time. i respect everyone's opinions on the albums, but at the end of the day, i don't sit in bed contemplating what baby thief had to say about gravity, cause quite frankly, i don't care what you have to say.

OK guys, I'll say it for the rest of you that are as dumbfounded by this statement as I am.

Who the fuck are you? Honestly, who are you? How did you get the right to just come on this board and dictate that people that don't like shitty music should leave, because it's not the same as your opinion?

I'll put it this way. You know the people here that you're calling out about not liking Gravity? Well, some of them have been here since the first week this board came about. Believe me, people would notice if someone like Sean, Robbo, or I left because a piece of worthlessness like you said for us to.

And to sum it up, no one would miss you, ask about you, or care if you left. If Rob did, especially because of you, you'd be hated, ignored, or what I hope would happen, banned.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

i gotta agree with alan... you still have to respect other peoples opinions. i don't agree with a lot of people's opinions but i don't lose sleep over it either. telling someone to fuck off is going overboard.

All this hate over forty minutes of sounds.

I remember when this all started. It was a cold autumn day in July, and the sun was just starting to rise with the moon. The rooster crowed at the signal and I awoke with a jump. It was 9:00. I WAS LATE FOR MAZDA CLASS! I ran out the door in just a t-shirt and boxers, and drove as fast as I could until a cop pulled me over for being underage. I got there just in time and learned about the Mazda. Good class. When I got home I went to sleep.

And something about Gravity and people arguing about it.

I am having a predicament. All right, now, my fingers hurt, and I've been on the computer all day, and I am tired and just want to read or something. However, some girl I am using my awesome powers to woo keeps IMing me. Now, I will never woo if I say I want to go do something else. However, my fingers are in terrible pain.

Sincerely,
Pained and Confused
