his voice drew me in instantly... as oppose to the deep voices of nearly every other rock band. OLP just stand out, every album is dfrnt, with a dfrnt feel, dfrnt sound. theres no 2 songs the same, no 2 records the same... which i why i actually like Gravity, because it IS Our Lady Peace. the new record is gona blow our heads off with yet another re-invention of sound and words... i cant wait

It's not just Raine's voice. It's meaning!

Who the hell cares about everyone being innocent?

But who doesn't want to hear about how Raine almost killed his best friend?

It's meaning that is gone now.

i second that (baby thief) the reason i think that most people didnt like SOT was because it's such a typical song, i mean it's another power balad. we're so used to having the guys challanging us with newer and wierder sounds, we lost that after SM....both musically, and lyrically

Yeah, everything went to shit. The end. Thread = locked.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
