we should find them........

Lyrically BSOBL, and North American are my favorites....do to my political views. They're just so..........right.
"How can we justify spending so much on destruction and so little on life?" Matthew Good

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

"Hold on, hold on children, your mother and father are leaving, hold on, hold on children your best freind's parents are leaving, leaving,.......*AHHH*! " - Death From Above - Black History Month

That just sums up my life at the moment.

And the more I listen to Blue Skies Over Bad Lands the more I love it
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Matt Good is fuckin' awesome live! I don't know what I was expecting, but whatever it was, Matt went way beyond it. The crowd kinda sucked, but whatever.

Someone brought a lawn gnome, and Matt was like "I really hope you stole that. I hope you didn't spend 49 bucks on it. It's not worth it, man. .. There's some guy in suburban Thunder Bay right now going 'God demmit! There were four of them this morning! I'm gonna find that punk from down the street and wring his neck!"

Someone threw a bottle of rye on stage. "What, they're throwing bottles now? ..What is it? ... Rye!? I'm insulted! Rye isn't sexy. Rye is for when you hate yourself."

His demo was great. "America's army.. the official game of the US Army. You get to go around.. meet interesting people... kill 'em. If you have a very small penis, this game is for you!"

The sound was perfect. Matt sounds twice as good live as he does on CD. It was great because he was talking -to- the crowd and not -at- the crowd. It wasn't a big choreographed performance. I can't remember the setlist, bit it was obviously mostly new stuff. The crowd didn't really get into it aside from the older songs, which was really crappy. When he busted out Everything is Automatic, people went pretty nuts.

In conclusion, crowd = teh suck, matt = teh good.

I got a broken drumstick and a pick, too. I hope he comes back here, I'd definitely see him again. Wil was a great opener, too. I bought the CD. 4 string song live is really cool.

We're So Heavy
Buffalo Seven
Little Terror (I think I heard a rumor about it being about Saddam's son)

sounds like you had a great time. I was impressed by his accoustic stuff and how good his voice carried. I never really thought much about his voice till seeing him sing accoustic

So you got the WIL CD. They ran out of them so I couldn't get one. I have to order it. I thought they were good. That guy plays a mean accoustic guitar.

Does anyone know of any place where i can get some Matt Good Buddy Icons?

I've already made half my screen name and my whole profile dedicated to him or the band, so i might as well add in my icon.

did you pre-order from Maple Music?

If so was it jewel case or digi-pak? On the MG board they were saying they received jewel cases.
