I like the lyrics, I like the song

But this song is missing a guitar solo, that crap that Steve does with his cry wah, just doesn't cut it. If it had a nice solo it'd make the song even better.

And I do agree the song is a little to popish, I thought they were going back to a rockier sound.... oh well I still like it.

I wish they kept the song faster like when they played it live...it is going to be hard to play the new version live with the xylophone, and i think i hear a second guitar and some piano....not going to be easy with 4 guys on stage....i hope there are some edgier songs on the new album, but needless to say, i still love this song!

Meh. It was OK. Like everyone else said, not super strong. I thought it was good until the xylophone. That sort of ruined it. And it has a bad "aftertaste" so to speak.

I've listened to it about 10 times so far, each time I enjoy it a little more. The one part I can stand is the "We're just losers on this open road" For some reason that part just doesn't fit in this song, nor does it sound good. Otherwise I like the song alot and get pumped for the new album more and more everytime I listen to this song. If this is the single thats upcoming, It won't have anywhere near the popularity of SWOT. This just isn't a radio hit. Which I could take or leave. Its a good song though. Like Raine has been preaching, "this will sound like nothing they've done before", which i completely agree with. Sounds nothing like older OLP. I just hope the rest of the songs aren't as basic as this one.

and i don't think thats a xelophone in the background. It sounds like a guitar tuned down real far with a heavy heavy echo on it.

i like the old version with the extended bridge with the "wanted more more more more more more" that went on forever, i loved that. and its also not as heavy as it used to be, which i thought was key to the song, but the lyrics are better than they used to be.
