The Juno's version was definitely the best (sound-wise, not lyrics-wise). It's too bad they didn't put more energy into it.
Where the hell is the "raw" sound they were talking about for album six?!

Needle and the Damage Done was a cover.
So was Tomorrow Never Knows.
Whatever was made for a wrestler, not an album.

Yes thank you. My point is songs that end up on compilations have never really popped up on their regular albums.

I don't know. First listen I hated it, completely hated it. But then I started to notice everything that was going on in the background, and it's really growing on me. I wish they hadn't gone with the 'road' lyrics, but still, I'm happy with it. With a riff like that, no matter what it's going to sound fairly poppy.

Hmm what an interesting development.
You'd really think OLP would have announced that Not Afraid was on the Labatt thinger.
Secondly I highly doubt it will be the first single. Who releases a song on a compilation before they even release it to the radio???

Someone mentioned this likely being the single; does that mean the single will be released soon?

I think all we can really tell by this is that we'll be hearing something official relatively soon.

Mabye... mabye. Secondly after listening to the song, I'd say it sounds very much like the OLP Christmas preview thing and after listening to the music i've decided its not about touring. And lastly I dont mind it all that much.

i like it... a lot. i really do. i think it's a pretty cool sounding song. also, listen to the ending. it's eerily (sp?) similar to the end of drive on the dvd.

Hehehe, the whole atomsphere is really reminding me of the U2. Anyways, once you get past the whole initial reaction (yes it's hella different.. but what did you expect?), I still think it's a nice song.
