Heres what i dont get. Brooke Shields named her daughter Rowan, when i always was lead to believe the female version of Rowan is Rowena. :puzzeled:

I guess Rowan is like the name Jamie, it's a unisex name

About half the names are unisex, we just don't usually see them used for a certain gender. Someone I know knew a guy named Andrea. I can't really imagine someone naming their son the Latin for womanly though. . .
