Yeah he is . . . as long as I don't have to see him, it's just fine. I love my State cd. Leader of Men . . . such a great song :nod:

i like that they're canadian, and even albertan, but, i agree that after you hear the song every time you turn on your fricken radio it get's a little sad. i mean, it's not even bad music. its a little unorigional and uncomplex, but it's not bad. it's the same with most shit they play on the radio. if they played the "popular" songs less, and more of the unheard-or-but-truly-genius music, i would be a happy camper, and there would be more selection and less classification (ie/ "pop" and "nu-metal", and "rock"). there would just be good stuff (olp, bnl, ttp, mgb, jew, atdi, etc) and bad stuff (brittney, nsync, bsb etc).

anyways..:mrgreen:

love jillie

I thought it was Default that's from BC? See... whoever said it was right, it's practically impossible to tell those two apart.

Chad (lead singer) from Nickelback is from Alberta, the rest of them are from BC as far as I know.
Default is also from BC..

I still think that most of you are confused between popular and overrated.
Just because a band has songs that are played on the radio lots doesn't make them overrated.

Everyone says Linkin Park is horrible, but they obviously know what they're doing if they managed to have the best selling album in the world last year... (some 40+ million sales or something)

I think it's funny that Nickelback are so popular now that all the girlies are like "omg chad is sooooooooooooo hot!"

they may be good musicians (in my opinion) but chad is definetly NOT hot.
it's amazing what fame can do.

Everytime I hear a Nickelback bootleg, all Chad does in between songs is talk about smoking weed. I think he's trying too hard to be "cool."

so I guess it's like this:

Nickelback live --> good
Nickelback CDS --> bad

I have absolutely no recollection of having posted this.

nickelback is overplayed here because they are really popular and it's the law that at least 30% of music on canadian radio stations has to be canadian..
but i still think we should be hearing more olp.
and chad is not hot.
that default dude dallas is kinda, though.
