ALL MY FRIENDS? SKIP? can those be used in the same sentence? All My Friends is arguably the best on the cd.

Personally the only song i ever skip is Life, meh it was kinda that precurser to Innocent.

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

I love life. Innocent not so much. The point is All My Friends had to grow on me as did The Wonderful Future, but I love them both.

I loved life when I first heard it. Then, it became super-popular as a single, and it wore off on me.

Now, however, I love it again. A little poppy, but it's still complex and great (musically at least). Listen particularily to the drums. Great use of symbals.

i hope Jer uses his drums the way they're supposed to be used on the new record. He was possibly the most musically talented one in the group, even people that hate OLP give Kudos to Jer.

One day I decided that I didn't like TWF very much. That continued for awhile until eventually I was just like "man, what was I on? :freak: " and started loving it like a normal person.

Crack.

That would be my guess.

Everyday that my cousin was in collage, he would wake up and go "Okay, which one of you put crack in my cereal? Seriously. This isnt funny. I'm going to get addicted or something"

Then they would all make up stories about how someone else did it, to stay out of trouble.

No one realized that he didn't eat cereal once while he was there.

   , when I saw an SM site I was like Yes another thread on Steve Mazur.

as for SM. I think it is OLP's best CD. I just love it, along with Naveed.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

Though I love them both, I'd say the low points on that CD are Mafia and Are You Sad. High points... If You Believe, All My Friends, Middle of Yesterday.
I just wanna get out,

The weird thing about SM is that the "worst" song on it is the first one.

It's by far my favorite CD by anybody though. I love SM, it's such a quick, easy listen but yet it's so deep and meaningful.

The last three songs (AMF, IYB, TWF) is the best 3-song succession on any OLP CD :)

The RK intros to Everyone's a Junkie and All My Friends, and how they lead into those songs openings is like....the best thing EVER.

I just love how the creepiness of the EAJ intro just stops and then rock begins. And I love the drum beats that lead into All My Friends. It'll just never get old.

While I don't like it so much anymore, I have a ton of respect for life. It's the song that got me into OLP in the first place. Before then, I didn't even listen to music. Period. That song drew me into my favorite album of all time. The one that basically shaped my musical taste.
