Yes I want more OLP too!

Thank God I live in Canada. If that Wal-Mart thingy is true and OLP do release the album in June (very little chance of it being released then) then I'll be happy because I live in Canada and there's a Wal-Mart down the street from me. But seeing there's no single yet the most likely explanation would be not a June release.

On the other hand, I've heard that OLP are taking special precautions not to let their music get out so easily as it did with Gravity, so the June release could really fucking surprize us to fuckland. Who knows!

Every album gets leaked. Every single one. If there's a demand, people will hear it.

Oh yeah, and I checked at the warehouse at work about ordering the new OLP cd, and my manager laughed, because there's been no word on its release. And he showed me the list of cds coming out until October. No OLP.

Who would want to listen to that one, anyway? I mean, besides my 15-year old cousin.

But LP did crazy things to stop it being leaked. Like only making one copy of the CD and handcuffing it to a security guard and strip searching journalists to make sure they didn't have any recording devices on them before letting them listen to it in rooms with soundproof walls.

Well, maybe it wasn't quite strip searching - but it wasn't that different from what I just said.

I can't see Sony doing that for OLP somehow.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Incorrect.

I was still a fan last year when it was released. I did end up having the entire cd... possibly a week before the release.

Remember, the fact that it's not on any 'coming soon' lists only means that it hasn't been announced yet. They could still very well give it an August release date, and then it'd be on those lists. I'm going with August, because it seems that they'll be playing shows then.

I'm voting for July. Just because It's between June and August and no one has said anything about that super-cool month yet.

Maybe the canadian wal-marts have access to insider information and it actually will come out one unexpected Tuesday in June before releasing a single and all of us will be like :O and go buy it. Or maybe I'm just crazy and overly-optimistic. Either Or.

A week? I wouldnt consider that a leak. You can listen to most cd's a week before they are released, through sites that host listening partys and such.

If it is coming out in June, then they are doing a very bad marketing job. Announcing a CD release doesn't seem like it should be done within 30 days before its release.

If that made any sense at all.
I just wanna get out,
Stuck inside of this.
