went to the st adele show on saturday. was a great show, here are some quick observations.

setlist as i remember it:
put out your lights
poor mans grey
in love with a bad idea
everything is automatic
weapon
north american for life
blue skies over badlands
alert status red
little terror
its been awhile since i was your man
hello time bomb
load me up
ex-pats

encore:
apparitions (acoustic)
in a world called catastrophe (acoustic)
buffalo 7
we're so heavy

-first show of tour, which meant quite a few screw-ups with gear, vocals werent loud enough for first couple of songs.
-during 'north american for life' matt went off on president bush sarcastically, saying if felt great to live in the safest part of the world and thanking him for making everyone feel truly safer.
-before alert status red, matt said that he just shot a terrible video for it.
-near the end of load me up instead of singing 'so so deformed' he instead sang 'i hate this song'
-new songs are great

you just get depressed listening to him now?

I never like listening him for too long because i always seem to get kind of sad. I mean aob is just so incredibly depressing. But, after i listen to LOSER ANTHEMS I always feel kind of crappy. Which really sucks because i love his music, but the effect i get from listening to it is sometimes not very good. hmmm, so matt good is like drugs in music form?

Well, no. Long periods of MG cause depression no matter what. Now I can barely listen to two songs without feeling down.

"How can we justify spending so much on destruction and so little on life?" Matthew Good

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

"Hold on, hold on children, your mother and father are leaving, hold on, hold on children your best freind's parents are leaving, leaving,.......*AHHH*! " - Death From Above - Black History Month
