come on Alabama showdate!

*crosses fingers in vain*
"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.

YOu could always see the beginning of one, and the end of another. Too bad both are headlines( I assume)

I have done that before-go to two different shows on the same night.

My friend and I saw Depeche Mode play an Areana show, then saw someone do a clubgig afterwards. Thank god they were a midnight show.

also a few years ago I went to Oleander/Fuel/3 Doors Down( I left after Fuel) because I also had tickets for Matt Good Band( one of their rare USA eastcoast dates)/Ours.

I saw the opening bands on 3DD( hey didn't I do that last year also  ) then went down to see Matt Good.

But it does suck when two shows you want to see are the same night. I have that now.

Alanis Morrisette is playing with The Barenaked Ladies on the Night I have tickets for Prince. I could try to get tickets for a different night of Prince( he is playing 5 or 6 NYC area shows) and sell the night I have and go to AM and BNL.

Good Luck.

WHo would you regret missing more is how I would choose. If you can't decide then go to neither or flip a coin.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

Ok what? I'm gone for one day, and I'm already out of the loop. Idiot that I am, I didn't even realize he'd be releasing a video...and is this girl on drums in the video, or is that coming from somewhere else?

I know a guy who has that one. I think I've outgrown having music posters, except maybe the odd promo one I steal from the venue. It's gotta have writing on it though.

I had a dream last night that Matthew Good came to my parents' house for something. I'm not sure why, but I had to put together some pages of surveys that other people took and give them to him. While I was doing that he put Underdogs on the stereo and took a nap.

I once had a dream that Matt had a huge amusement park with millions of chickens and ducks running around.

one- you're too big a matt fan; and two- you've watched too much Friends.
