I had a great night last night. Went out for dinner with friends (Thai Food ) then came back to my house and watched Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Requiem For A Dream. The fact that they were both about drugs is coincidental, I swear!

Anyway, both were good.. especially Requiem. It was quite disturbing yet one of the coolest movies I've seen in a long time. The imagery was fantastic and the soundtrack was kickass too.

All my stupid friends are either too tired or hung over.

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

I thought you said you couldn't drink anymore.

I took my friends up to ride at the ranch today. It was fun, but now my ass, knees, and hips hurt like hell. Hot cowboys  Being the best rider: priceless. Well, best among my friends...

Then I came home and did homework! How exciting, last week of school! Yes!

Oh yes, then my friend came over and we watched Death Becomes Her. Funny movie.

And I'm still at a loss of what to do over my paper

... they were also in Gettysburg... which is like 3-4 hours away. So it was a day long thing.

Anyway, the club is up now. Join, people, join! :D

I went to order a new washing machine yesterday and had the most bizarre conversation with the girl who sold it to me:

<shop assistant> (noticing the big scar on my neck) did somebody cut you?
<me> uh, no - I had an operation
<sa> what was it? tonsils?
<me> no, i had my thyroid gland removed
<sa> you're a very brave girl

that just made no sense to me cos
1) if someone had cut me then my scar would definitely not be as neatly curved as it is.
2) don't they take your tonsils out by going down your throat?
3) why does having had an operation make me brave?????

:freak:
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.
