I'm lost on that one too... 
I'm not trying to stick up for Nickelback or anything (I dislike most of their material), but lots of bands use similar chords / phrases in their songs. Whoever made the MP3 sped up Someday a teeny bit - it's faster and a higher key than normal. However, these dudes take the cake as being the most cookie-cutter band ever.
