Favorite Bass Part

Post by Tattooed Angels »

Okay there are several threads on favorite guitar part and favorite vocal but none on bass so here it is.

My favorite bass parts are(off the top of my head) Naveed, Birdman, Bring Back The Sun, Made To Heal, Innocent. There are a few more that I will get back to on that.

Clearly One Man Army is the best. Its like the bass is having an orgasm or something. Its indescribable.

Duncan did some of his best work on Happiness, with Happiness & The Fish and One Man Army especially, but my favourite is Everyone's A Junkie.
Just because I am sexy, naked, a bassist, and sporting a top hat doesn't make me Duncan Coutts!

hey Can I join Duncan's club? Actually I was in it under my old username(which I can't use anymore-ultraviolet)
I will have to listen to that CD again. (Happiness) although I love Consequences of Laughing.

Whoo Hoo. Thanks. You know I did tell him about this back in 02. It He liked it. You know I was thinking of you. DO you still have the photo from AC with all of us and Duncan. I think it was you, me, kim and I forgot who else. I just remember seeing it posted here way back when.

It seems I have sparked an interest in threads with my guitar solo thread :)

Anyway, my favorite is One Man Army, but actually the bass on Not Afraid sounds very promising.

I also like Middle of Yesterday, and I think Superman's Dead is underrated too.

For Gravity, only Story About a Girl semi-stood out to me.

Here are some more songs the BASS is killer

Dirty Walls, Supersatelite, Let You Down, and Car Crash( I can't believe I forgot that in the first post)

I just think Duncan is WAY COOL to watch play. Especially now with his new *facial Expressions* 8-) I must admit I sort of miss the bounce he use to do.
