For example, there was this girl that i thought was very smart, nice, cool, etc. However, just the other day she said that her and her friends casually drink every time they hang out... I mean, she's only a freshman, and it just kind of told me just how old i really am (since i'm the same age). I just can't believe i'm already dealing with all of this stuff.
THERE'S TOO MANY OF US THAT DON'T WANT TO FIGHT IT

very exrtremist views
but what can you do if you're walking down the side of the street, and you can't distinguish between a 12-year old girl and an 18 year old girl?

You know what is a hurting hurting thing?
Well this guy I was totally head over heals for (still sort of am
) broke up with me not once nor twice, but three times. And after the second time he promised that he liked me so much and wouldn't do it again. Three weeks later, he breaks up with me again because he says he isnt good in relationships and doesn't want a girlfriend.
Maybe that is why he has been involved with one, and going out with another right now, only three weeks later.
what an asshole.

Guy: Her locker's down the hall, I've counted 17 from mine.
Girl: Does he see me? Does he even know that I'm close by?
Guy: We're in the hallway, always at half past nine.
Girl: Would he ever get to know me? Would he take the time?
[glow=brown]...Back in school they never taught us what we needed to know like how to deal with despair or someone breaking your heart...[/glow]

I took my then 12-year old sister to see Avril Lavigne last year and this 19-year old guy was hitting on her. Later he asked if the two of us were friends.
I told him, "We're sisters, and she's 12." And even after that, he kept hitting on her.

Here in LA I see a really large amount of young kids wearing slutty "trendy" clothes at ages 6 and 9 and 12, and everything in between.
In class the other day we were all ranting about how kids are growing up too fast and looking too old, and drinking too young, ect.
My teacher made this comment. "wow! there used to be a saying that once you got to 30 you were out of touch. I am beginning to think its 18 or 19 listening to you guys."
I have a feeling that our generation is going to re-introduce the stricter parenting. lol

i doubt half of our generation is going to make it too parenthood, people around here are either too messed up with drugs and drinking, then some girls say they won't ever have kids cause they don't want the responsibilty or the pain, and the guys say that they don't want kids, or if they did they'd give them drugs, i seriously fear for the future of the world
Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf
Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...
Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...
So glad you could stay
Forever
He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand
You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..
So glad you could stay
Forever

I know about that, too. All these people tell me they'll let their kids drink and do drugs ... I fear the generation to come for that very reason. I'm well aware that some will not actually end up doing that and say things about being permissive parents and such. Despite them ... disaster awaits. Drugs have become part of culture here in my city.
Without you I'm as good as
dead ...
