I have four questions, hoorah!

1) In the back of the Happiness... Is Not A Fish That You Can Catch booklet, it says, 'Trk #1 sample: Terminalhead's "Underfire"'. What means this?!

2) What are those girls (according to the back, Mina Kim, Jae Kim, Chantal, and Jeremy) saying/singing at the end of Thief?

3) Is there a studio version of "Our Time is Fading"?

4) Uh... I forgot the fourth, so I'll just say, "Big green monkey!?!?!?!"

There may be more to come.

Here's who those girls are:
Mina kim is who the song is about. She died of terminal illness and was a child. Jae Kim is probably her mom. Chantal Kresiovak is Raine's wife. Jeremy is a dude.

I just realized I misread the question. oops. oh well, enjoy.

They used some audio samples from Terminalhead's cd's Underfire Volume 1 and Volume 2, on One Man Army and In Repair, respectively. I never could find out what the vocal sample was on In Repair.

Only OLP knows. Just friends or something. I think we've answered just about every thief question that doesn't go into the personal lives of OLP. But I could be wrong.

I read this interview with Chantal Kreviazuk once. I don't remember it exactly, but Chantal said that Mina was a really big Our Lady Peace fan, so she introduced her to Raine. Mina was almost blind at the time from her medication or because of the cancer (don't remember which), so when Chantal said "Mina, Raine of Our Lady Peace is here to see you", Mina didn't believe it at first.

I guess that's how it started. First Chantal, then Raine, and then the rest of Our Lady Peace. The interview didn't say how Chantal met Mina in the first place, though.

I don't know how Mina met OLP or Chantal.According to an Interview with Raine and Jeremy (when Thief was premiered on MM) Mina was sick with a brain tumour. The band didn't know that she was aware of her illness because she didn't act sick, but full of live. It wasn't till after she died that they learned she knew of her illness. They befriended her and she came into the studio to see them. BTW incase anyone is keeping score. Chantal Kreviazuk's song *M*(off Colour Moving and Still) is also about Mina as *EVE* is about the same Eve that Stealing Babies is about.-For people who aren't Chantal Fans on here.

Also to whoever asked who Jeremy is. Isn't that the same guy who played in the Hero video on Drums :mrgreen:

Stealing babies is about a special raine saw on the aids crisis in africa. Go to the burning neon fansite. That'll give you all the explanations you need up to the end of the happiness era.
