I think we agree J-Neli.

I'm well known on here for being very OLP supportive about many things. While messages are nice and appreciated, I agree that it is totally up to the band. If fans started to dictate what the band should and should not do they would lose a lot privacy and probably feel forced into the celebrity culture (I'm sure they hate it). I'm glad Raine and Chantal manage to stay out of the spotlight too........its refreshing that they can escape that.

I'm sure most fans on here would love to hear from them more often. I think its somewhat natural to want to hear from the band.

I think thats what Cracks was intended to do....and that hasn't really worked that well.

The only thing I have to say, is what was the point of the OLP satellite?

Some nerd at Sony probably made the program, so they decided to try to use it for something...

The Cracks used to be excellent. That was back when Mike was around to worry abou the online stuff. I think it's pretty obvious to see where OLP's online present went after he left the band. jeremy made a brief attempt, but it didn't work too well, obviously.

the website is at web.archive.org - the wayback machine

It automatically archives and stores the state of the website during their periodic search.

The old CM is there if you are curious.

Although the website is a petty thing, I would like to see a good deal of work put into it like the Spiritual Machines site...

More Cracks wouldn't hurt either...

OLP has a good internet presence. Yes, there are bands with better ones, who post more stuff on their sites and have online journals and crap... but there are also bands who are far far worse, who have never so much as posted a single thing on their own websites ever. Stop complaining. Ugh.

I love the Matt Good website, just because it is so cool that he shares his opinions on the world...and so few people speak so honestly about issues.

I don't go to the OLP website anymore. I figure nothing gets updated, so I don't go anymore.

The funny thing is I never look at Matt Good's site as a site for his music. I always think of it as his personal website, and he just happens to be a musician.

I didn't say it wasn't band related. I said would people feel better if they got a post with something MODANE like that, or even a post that said WE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING BAND RELATED THIS WEEK. People are complaining cause the band isn't keeping them updated. All I wrote was they never really say anything unless it is big. That is all. I don't even hear from my friends that often and I am not going OMG-they aren't updating me on thier lives. People get busy, and sometimes there just isn't anything to tell.

same goes for a band. Yes There are some artist who constantly update their sites. OLP aren't one of them so people need to chill out a bit. When there is something important to tell I am sure we will hear about it.

You've never seen them? They had like a 10 second vid for each song. Nothing snazzy, just a moving picture. But I forget most of them. I want them!
