Every now and then I fall out into open air just to feel the wind, rain and everything.
And though the hum and sway gets me down
, I'll find the way to peace and openness.

But DUDE...the guy lives on the base in the 'burbs of Hartford....only drove the sucker when off duty, and when he was in the military housing, he had the sucker checked out by one of the base's mechanics just to make sure everything was still sound.

A freakin car with a little over 40,000 miles for 2500.00 (including shipping)

sweeeeet.
"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.

Well......being that its a 95 (9 years old) even if it only had 10,000 miles it wouldn't "blue book" for much more than if it had almost 100,000. Soooo I "blue booked" the sucker, and it only booked at just over 2200.00 So, I told the guy that if he'd drop the price to 2200.00 I'd throw in a couple of Xbox games  cuz I looked at his prior feedback and noticed that he had bought Xbox games

He said yes....so wtf I'll take advantage of that shiizzznit. After I get the car I'm gonna take some pictures so I'll post one 'ur two on here, cuz my mom wants me to email her some pics.

Proof that you got a damn good deal:

here in good ol' saskatchewan, my parents bought me a car for $2000. now, what sort of car?

a freaking 1991 ford festiva. with 100,000 km (which is low at least)

you got that '95 thinger for a wee bit more than my festiva. now, if i had smart parents..they would've looked around, and probably managed the same yours did..but. nope. you lucked out majorly.

by the way..just a quick end note...festivas + winter in saskatchewan = getting stuck. a lot.

depends. on what? i don't know.

i just really had no idea how to answer the weirdness question, so some noncommital (woo, bad spelling), semi-not-really-confusing answer seemed to work.

With only 40,000 miles on this beauty......it'll hold me over under I can buy my first brand new car in about 3 years haha.
The Neon that I had.......I bought it almost exactly 2 years ago, and I've only put about 13,000 miles on it. I think I heard the average in the US is around 15,000-16,000 per year. I basically averaged around 6,500 per year.
