You know what's a sure fire way to cure anything?

Drinking forty glasses of water every day.
Just because I am sexy, naked, a bassist, and sporting a top hat doesn't make me Duncan Coutts!

Wouldn't that much make you really ill? If you drink too much water it dilutes everything in your body so much it doesn't work any more.
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

What Are the Symptoms of Conjunctivitis?

Burning, itchy eyes that discharge a heavy, sticky mucus may indicate bacterial conjunctivitis.
Copious tears, a swollen lymph node, and a light discharge of mucus from one eye are signs of viral conjunctivitis. People with viral conjunctivitis often have symptoms of an upper respiratory infection or cold.
Redness, intense itching, and tears in the eyes may indicate allergic conjunctivitis.
Inflamed red bumps are usually visible on the underside of the upper eyelid, especially while contacts are being worn in people with giant papillary conjunctivitis. The contact tends to ride up on the eye with blinking.

You're probably ok - you have to drink an awful awful lot to cause damage. It happened to an actor over here last summer - he'd get so hot on stage he'd drink a bottle of water each time he went off stage and after a week he just collapsed. He was ok after a few days in hospital though.
