it was sent out to the PPU fan members about 3 years ago,

You can also maybe find it on some OLP bootlegs.

I have it on the PPU CD and a bootleg someone made me.

BTW, I saw Sarah Slean in December and told her I dug her version. She wwas singing back-up for David Usher at the CASBY awards in Toronto on his song Black Black heart.

Hey I've been looking for the score of this too... it's sheet music, though, right? because I've seen those tab things, but those don't work for me.. Anyway, I have AIM or if someone could e-mail it to me that would be GREAT! Thanks!

I was thinking about asking for it, and I'm glad someone finally started a topic for it. I tried to play it by ear, but I only have the melody down, so if you could send it to me than that would rock.... Odin, I'm kahula91@aol.com

Ourladypeace.pt.vu wrote:These are just the chords,
not the progression, the piano
makes subtle variations of
these chords throughout the song

[Intro]
repeat and jazz...
e|---1---------------|-----------|
B|-1---1-------4---4-|-------4---|
G|-------3-------6---|-6------5--|
D|---------3-3-------|---6-6---6-|
A|-1-------------4---|-----------|
E|-----------2-------|-----4-----|

"Can you se her standing there.."
e|-----------4-|
B|-1-----4---4-|
G|-3-----6---5-|
D|-3--4--6---6-|
A|-1--4--4---6-|
E|-1--2--4---4-|

"offered is......fake it"
e|----4-----4-----4----|
B|----4-----4-----4----|
G|-6--5--6--5--6--5----|
D|-6--6--6--6--6--6--4-|

[Chrous]

same as intro
"she's only yours tonight"

B|-1-----4---4-|
G|-3-----6---5-|
D|-3--4--6---6-|
A|-1--4--4---6-|
E|-1--2--4---4-|

"diggin up the past"
e|----4-----|-4-|
B|----4-----|-4-|
G|----5-----|-6-|
D|-4--6-rpt-|-6-|<"one last time"
A|-4--6-----|-4-|
E|-2--4-----|-4-|

end with [Intro / Chorus]
e|-1-----4---4-|
b|-1-----4---4-|
g|-3-----6---5-|
d|-3--4--6---6-|
a|-1--4--4---6-|
E|-1--2--4---4-|

That's basically it. It all revolves around the same chords.
I don't guarantee it's 100% correct, I've only played this on piano
and this is the first time I've transcribed it for the guitar.

hey through in an intro let me know what you think

Remember, I didn't write this, I don't play the piano. I just found it on olpworld so all credits go to them.

Try emailing ravenscraw@hotmail.com and asking him for the piano music. It looks like he would know it if he transcribed it from piano to guitar. Or better yet, get someone to explain how to transcribe guitar tabs to piano music. Then you could play more of OLP's songs on piano.

holy crap this is an old thread.

julia (piano) =
"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.

question - how do you play the piano on a guitar?
-Sarah

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.
