Raine said in the Behind the Scenes thing that directors (hired by Sony, no doubt) would always tell him to calm down, and try to look more mellow, dark and "cool". The result is one tight-ass uptight Raine.

i always thought that was a pretty weak excuse though. After all there's tons of Artists that do whatever they want in videos and in many cases makes asses of themselves. Ex. Perry from Janes Addiction, Brian Byrne from IME, Ben from Billy Talent, So-and-so from The Vines, and the list goes on. Infact it becomes a trade mark for many bands.
Although i think whoever said Raines hates videos might be right, that would make a lot more sense, because frankly i would like to think Raine would just tell a director to screw off.
