I still appreciate romance...

I slammed my finger in a car door and until now was not fit for typing, lol.

If everyone heads over to matthewgood.net right now, they'll see Gav on the main page.

I went out. We ended up freaking lost and almost crashed in the blizzard four times. It's a sign from God, keep being anti social.

Romance is not dead. Most people just don't appreciate it.

Plus, what's wrong with just being comfortable?

Agreed.
It can be a bitch when you're looking for romance only to realize no one else is.

I just think that it's more like this... The first year is basically all the romantic stuff... and then after that, you just get comfortable. You don't really have to go all out to impress anyone, you just realize that all you really need to do is be together. It's no longer about the bringing home flowers, it's about a phone call to make sure the other one is aware that it's raining outside and to make sure they're careful... just simple things. I prefer the comfort stage, the companionship stage over all of that romantic nonsense anyway.

I love him too much in order to feel the need to be romanced.

That's not what I meant.
I've never been with someone for more than a year because when I want love they don't. Then when they realize you want love they run away. It sucks.

See--
I think love and romance are two completely different things.

And I think it's possible to have one without the other.
