Steve and Jeremy attacked by flock of seagulls

Post by Flea21212 »

No no, it's not true. This board and the whole OLP world has been so quite the past week I needed to do something to spice things up a bit. I mean www.olp.com hasn't posted a news article in a week, and that was just an anouncement of Raine's birthday.

So I guess if you would like to make this post somewhat useful, post your fake news headlines below or at least something that will make us laugh

And just to note, I hate people that post fake topics like this... so I don't mind you being upset with me, you have reason to be.

Hey,

I don't mind occasional jokes about what OLP's doing, but its pretty tasteless to put up a headline like that when its obvious a lot of people care about these guys.

I wouldn't tell you your mom is dead, then start laughing and say i was kidding......that moment can be devastating.....even if its a few seconds. So post away......but think before you try and manipulate us into your less than important conversation.

Agreed. Sure we like to make the occasional OLP joke thread, but starting it off by saying that someone was in a bad accident is not the way to obtain a quick laugh.

Original thread name said they were in an accident. I for one didn't think it was that big of a deal though. Ah well.

Speaking of it only hurts when I breathe... has anyone else heard the remake of the Greenwheel song Breathe done by... I think Melissa Etherage.. it's horrible, man I can't beleive they would give such a great song away.

I think it's supposed to be ironic . . . if she would stop breathing, you would stop hurting. :uh:

hmm, good point.
"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.
