Does anybody HAVE a copy (or know somebody with a copy) of freakin Chrono Trigger for SNES?

I'm really not wanting to pay fifty bucks (or more) for it, but its looking like I have no choice.

Chrono Trigger is the only RPG that gave me a hard-on, and I really don't get my jollies off the .rom version I have on my computer for the SNES emulator that I have.

It's going to be really hard for you to find the original SNES version for a decent price. It's pretty rare and in high demand. You could probably find the playstation version a lot easier. I have it, and it is exactly the same as the original, it even has new game +, so it's not like they really screwed around with it or anything.
And may I just commend your taste, Chrono Trigger is one of my very favorite games of all time!
don't look now, just keep watching the TV hating what's too see waiting for someone to say something that's right.

Sounds like a good price to me. If I had an SNES, I'd pay that for it.

Come on, this is the RPG.

Agreed!

I'd imagine Street Fighter 2 Turbo and Final Fantasy 6 (FF3) would go for a high price as well.

Yay, my post count is now 1337.

Ouch.

Just be glad your not a fan of Neo- Geo. The games are apparently amazing but not many systems were sold. However now the games are in high demand and range anywhere from $100 to $350.

Neil down and obey.. wrote:Well, looks like I'm gonna be spening 'round fifty bucks for it.....

Think about it though. If you were going to buy a new computer game (which would probably give you about half the fun of a classic like CT), you'd be fine paying $40-$100.

Neil just buy Final Fantasy Chronicles for PSX, it's the exact same game, with a few FMV anime sequences added in to make the story cooler. The only problem is you'll have to find it used or on eBay because it's hard to come by being a rarity also.

Plus you get an FF game with it too!!!

As Neil already said, the rom just doesn't cut it.

My Best Buy has three of the PSX Final Fantasy Chronicles sitting in their store. Maybe we can work something out if you want it Neil.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Are you serious? Thats a pretty cool idea, I honestly hd never heard about it before though. I'll go learn about it now. :)

And Neil : if it does come down to somehow buying it from Alan's Best Buy...from what I've read from Alan, you can trust him not to screw you over.

Yeah, I have the .rom but its just not the same.

I wound up spending the fifty bucks for the mo'fo, and Rob you're right I know it's basically totally worth it.

I don't have a playstation.....but yeah I have seen that Chronicles game, actually for rather cheap too. (what's all on it though?)

Are the PSX's cheap these days?
