Whats your very favorite cd?

Post by lukin »

I'm curious to what everyones favorite cd is, and I want you guys to only list ONE since thats always the hardest and I think the most interesting.

For me its Jimmy Eat World's Clarity. That cd helps me no matter what mood im in. Upbeat, depressed whatever it always manages to sound great.

Alright...remember only one. No ties :)

Yes Happiness... by OLP is by far my favorite of all time, and the best female album in my opinion has to be Jagged Little Pill by Alanis!

Hmm...between MGB's BM, OLP Happiness.../SM, Bright Eyes' Lifted..., Counting Crows Live in NY....

...

Crap, it's too hard to choose.
"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.

Pearl Jam - Ten
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Naveed, Clumsy, Kid A, Avalanche, and OK Computer.

They're all on one big mixed CD. So it's one CD.

So ha.
