Mike Turner Songs!

the song I like the most is Don't Start.

One oart of the song it reminds me of the guitar in All My Friends.

I would put a time, but the window it opens in doesn't give me the time.

BTW, the beginning of Alchemist reminds me of Show Me How To Live( Audioslave) but Jay deosn't remind me of Chris Cornell.

I'm partial to "Don't Start", too. The others are really good as well, but DS is just. :drool:

Agreed. It's just about the coolest thing in the world. Couldn't believe it when I first heard he sent them to emtee.org, and still can't believe it. I told my boyfriend about the situation (who likes OLP but kinda rolls his eyes whenever I talk about 'em), and he was visably impressed and suprised. :thumbs:

Oh, but Mike's not the biggest artist to really do this... Weezer released all of Maladroit in mp3 form to fans before it was actually released. :nod:

Alot of artist are doing that now. They rather have the fans get the music, then the bootleggers and pirates.

I think within time, everything will be available through the websites.

It is cool that Mike released this to the fans. Then again, there really isn't any other way to hear anything he has done unless it is released through a label. I am sure Mike really appreciates the site and the fans who still support him. Anyone who has met him knows he alwasy was into talking with the fans, especially music.

don't know if he will stay or not. Brother is leaving the station. briefly thanked him for stopping by and he said he looked good with the dark hair

he said he was doing okay.Nothing else to report. it was a 1 minute convo.

Brother is going to Vancouver. this is his last day at the station. Alot of people have been coming by or calling the last 3 days. He played a song then said I want to thank all the people who are stopping by to wish me well. now in the studio saying Hi is the former guitarist of a very well known band( our lady Peace)

Convo- Hi Mike how are you.
Mike-Fine-came to say goodbye
Brother- See you are still doing the darker hair- then kidded about him remaining young-
Mike-yeah I am only 22 years old.

I told you that it was short. But as soon as he said Former Guitarist of well establish band I knew it was Mike. I doubt it would be Bill( from Treble Charger)

Lori- don't feel bad. I use to be friends with a former DJ from the station. The Day of the Music Without Borders show(Oct 01') we stopped by to talk to her. I called her later that day. She told me, not even a few seconds after my friend and I left Mike came by. We missed him by a few mere seconds. Then again if we had stayed we might not of gotten to see Raine(who we did bump into) he was walking his dog.
