Howard Dean's "I Have a Scream" Speech:

Serious discussion area.
You realize that sometimes you're not okay, you level off, you level off, you level off...

Was Howard Dean "out of line" by the way he acted in that speech?

Yes (if you choose this, please post more info as to why)

If Hillary Clinton and Rudy Guiliani both ran for president in 2008, I'm fucking leaving this country. No fucking question. I'm gone.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Now that I think about it, Hilary could very well end up the first female president. And that makes me want to die.

I wouldnt mind Hilary being president, i mean, its an opinion. She runs the state of New York pretty damn well, and just cause her husband was a retard doesn't mean she is. Plus, everyone around Pittsburgh has been saying that if she runs its gonna be locked up, but they were talking about the 2012 elections...

oh yes, and after that scream, Howard Dean its never going to be president. ever.

Personally, I think she is one of the smartest first ladies that the United States has seen. I think that she would have what it takes to get the job done. She spends a lot of time helping out with different charities as well- I know, I know, every first lady does that- but Hillary more than others. I just think that if the U.S. elects a woman as president in the next 20 years, I hope it's her. I really think that it could happen in 2008 if she decides to run. Last year, before the democrats came out to announce they would be running to become the democrat to run against Bush, she had the highest support. If she finally decides to run in 2008, I think that a lot of America will be on her side.

Why?
You seem to have an intense hatred for the lady, but I bet you don't even know why.

I like to think there's a good chance Bush won't be re-elected... I think if it's up to younger people, he won't be. I know the majority of my friends can't stand the guy. We just all have to get out there and vote against him. I know I will be. It'll be the first time I actually go out and vote in the 3 years I've been registered.

The only thing is you're from the Jersey area. The North tends to be much more democratic where as the south is very republican. Although, it seems to me that a lot of younger people just vote for who their parents vote for, which is very sad actually. It's sad because they can't make their own decisions. I really would be very surprised if Bush lost this election. It seems pretty impossible right now for any of the democrats who want to run against him to beat him.

Most people have no idea why they hate Bush.

Not all young people hate Bush either. All of my friends and acquaintances are voting for him.

believe it or not, alot of younger voters(between 18-30) like BUSH.

this was last Oct. Don't know now. I never liked Bush. hated alot of his policies. I also had a feeling if he was elected into the White House we would end up in a war. I wasn't wrong.

I'm sorry to say I haven't really read up on the Dem Canadates. Doesn't matter, there is no way in hell I am voting for BUSH.

Yeah, it does depend on where you live. Cos yeah, most of my friends don't like Bush (a few do, but the majority hate him). And I'm definitely not voting against him cos of my mom, she likes the jerk. Maybe I can figure out a way to stop her from voting.

I never really discussed that with my parents. My mom died shortly after I was able to vote. My dad stop voting. My friends and I pretty much are in sync with voting.

everyone is different. like I said for me it is all about the issues.
unfortunately doesn't matter who gets voted in. There is noway you can please everyone.

One the upside. There hasn't been anymore attacks in the USA. That can be postive for BUSH.

I wish I could help you with mom, but like you said people are different.
I think it is great you are voting. More younger people need to get involved with voting. I have been voting since I was 18. I was registered by a Guidance in my senior year.

I don't like Bush, its basically because my cousin, Becky, has been over in Northern Iraq for 11 months now. Normally she would get to come back after she completed a whole year of service over there, but they are making her stay until July.

It may seem like is not a good reason to hate Bush, but hey, oh well

I think it's a great reason to hate him. He got us into that war, so without him, your cousin would be at home.

i support dean, but i am voting for any democrate that goes against bush.

bush is an idiot he makes dumb desicions, like for instance ruining all relationships the U.S. had with the rest of the world, we look like a giant bully, if i lived out side the U.S. i would hate us too. Also tons of tax cuts, with tons of spending on war and the MOON, its just all dumb. we try to get invovled with all these other countries before america is even okay. We should fix our own country before we go invading everywhere else in the world demanding a change. Under bush we just go into insane debt, while cutting taxes just so he gets elected, then when he has money problems, he cuts funding to internal affairs instead international crap that we shouldn't even be involved with. Almost every desicion bush has made has been hurried and not thought out, and most of the time dumb. This doesn't even touch the fact that he is a homophob, and strictly against all types of abbortion.
