I don't know if you are kididng or what. I heard that Mike was playing guitar with CS in the studio last year. This was coming from an unrealiable source( not the person who told me, but where they got the info from) They are somewhat in the Biz. so I don't know it was true or not.

Why have you been keeping this from us, Yannic!?!?

You're certainly correct on the part of that. Apparently he was drunk the whole show, even.

oh My, I love this photo. WHere is it from.. Jeremy in a somewhat drunk mode. . Or just being his normal silly self. In the photos Soozy and I got with him in Paris he is also holding his drink( I would post it, but my Yahoo account acts up). That was too funny. He was talking with these kids. He said to them that I have seen him drunker. I asked him what is in the drink, he told me, then said it would be too strong for me. I asked if I could take a sip, he said don't say I didn't warn you. I told him I had stronger. I was holding his drink so he could sign something for the kids there. Agh Paris. That will always be a special show for me, and one of my favorites. It was great to see kids into the band. That is what amazed me most.
Sorry for the spam. Ididn't forget this is the new music from Mike Turner thread. 'I do hope we hear something from him soon. While( and please no hate post to me) I don't miss him in OLP-( I feel they made an excellent choice finding Steve) I do miss that we haven't heard anything at all from him. It is as if he left the biz all together. It will be nice to see something from him again. He has too many fans, and admirers out there.

Whenever death may surprise us, let it be welcome if our battle cry has reached even one receptive ear and another hand reaches out to take up our arms.

"When looking up there, I just felt whole, like I belonged. Like one day I too would shine my most brilliant. Sitting there also made me think about sitting through services at my little country church back home. About that never-changing congregation of the same sixty-seven people and everyone has known you since before you were born. Now, out here in the real world, everything just seemed more vivid than when I used to sit in that little pew. That pew that was now so, so far away from where I was. I feared I had somehow left God behind there, too. I feared he was somehow just sitting there, saving my seat on the fifth pew from the front row, just waiting on me to come back. I left so quickly, I worried that he may not have noticed I was gone. And, now, I’m just too far away to find. So he’s just sitting there, patiently waiting on me to come back. I closed my eyes and prayed a moment. I hoped more than anything that he could still hear me." -an excerpt from my novella, A Sea of Fallen Leaves.

And, Gail, that was from after the infamous Rochester show in February of 2003. At that point, we CMers were probably defrosting ourselves in our hotel room.

we have recieved one song from mike, called "don't start". it was written by mike and the vocalist, jay mcgroarty.
it features a full band, including string section. we don't know who is playing these instruments, but i am assuming it is either jamie, or they were done electronically. it also has a bitchin' guitar solo.
it is very, very good. like, great.
this song, and the rest of the material recorded during this session is not likely to be released, and as yet, we have been asked not to share the file, which is why i haven't announced it yet on emtee.org.
we're just waiting to hear from mike about file sharing as it stands. soon as we know, you'll know.
