my rook didn't hurt too much. i actually didn't even know the guy was piercing it. i thought he was still putting the clamp on. my rook hurts now though. it's a little infected and it's growing out. :(

why is it growing out? that's strange .. normally only surface piercings and eyebrow piercings grow out cuz the skin is sorta pushing it out .. but with the rook there's nothing to push out?

i'm going to the piercer's tomorrow cuz my friend wants to get her belly ring looked at and i want to get my nose looked at .. it will be hard walking out without a new hole :(

i don't know. it is just growing out, i guess. i remember it being pierced further back before, and now it seems to be more forward. and there seems to be a small scar where i think it used to be pierced.

Joey wrote:yeah, i have a purple star screw sitting in my drawer that i ordered at least 4-5 months ago but i haven't attempted to put it in yet .. i'm scared i'll get it out fine, but then not be able to get the new screw in .. though I do have some studs on hand that I can put in if i can't get my screw back in .. and i have no idea how to get a ring in my nose .. i'm not that talented

all right, well, DO NOT try to change it yourself! Because exactly what you said happened to me. I got the original screw out fine, then could not get the new one in, then I panicked because the old one wouldn't go back in. Finally I got the old one back in and the next day I went to my piercer and had him put the new one in for me. He had to rebend it, so maybe that was why I couldn't get it in. :freak:

awesome. Make sure you have Q tips handy at all times, they really come in handy for nose piercings (both for cleaning and for picking out boogers)!

my tragus didn't hurt at all .. i didn't even feel the needle go through actually .. there's no crunching noise like a lot of people say either .. it's a pretty easy piercing and within 2-3 nights you'll be able to sleep on that ear again.

Um tragus was $40, rook was $45 and that includes the jewellery.
I can't remember what I paid .. I get discounts, plus I usually tip like $10 at least but that's how much it is where I go.

my rook piercing healed very fast surprisingly but it did hurt .. not a hurt you can't stand but it takes a bit longer to get the piercing in so it's kind of an "ow get the fuck away from me" feeling .. my friend said I didn't flinch but it was hard not to squirm
