Popstars? That's rough. Personally from my point of view I'd want to hear Raine and Eddie Vedder work together.... or perhaps Layne Staley. I think Raine and Vedder could do great things together though, with Raines falsetto and Vedders deeper voice. I suppose the closest that will ever come was when Matt Cameron covered for Jer, though.

**EDIT:
Just thought or Raine and Layne doing Rooster, that would be too good!

Hey man, I love the AIC reference there. I'd rather have Raine and Layne do a song that Layne wrote, even though I love Rooster. I think Grind or Sickman would be amazing with those two. Well, would have been...

Grind,mmmmm.
You can almost hear Raine singing : In the darkest hole, you'd be well advised not to plan my funeral 'til my body Diiiiiiies.

How about Raine and Layne doing some Mad Season stuff, eh?

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head

Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

I would die to hear Raine and Layne do River Of Deceit together, or even I Don't Know Anything. It would be heavenly.

I don't think that'd work. The drums are really simple on their songs, and it works... Jer's style is anything but simple, and it just... would sound bad.

It was only because Jer is friends with matt. I don't think they have any real connection to Vedder

Jer was drinking at the Rochy show while he was on stage. Ryan Jordan from Greenwheel was bringing him drinks during the set.

The White Stripes don't have complex drums in their songs because Meg White isn't a good drummer. In fact, most would say she's bad. Anyways, the music is all about the guitar, the drums need to do nothing more than keep a beat in it.

Agreed. I still think in a one shot deal like what this thread is about it would be interesting to hear.
