Did you buy your network adaptor yet? If you didn't, then that might be a tiny snaffoo in getting your games online.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Dr SpaZZo: Heh.
Dr SpaZZo: Which, by definition, means I have more of a life than you
Dr SpaZZo: Pity
TwilightKnight: well i was making out with a girl today
Dr SpaZZo: Liar
Dr SpaZZo: Theres no such thing as a "girl"
TwilightKnight: yes it is true!
TwilightKnight: they arent the tales and ledgends we thought them to be
TwilightKnight: they exist and live on the outside!
TwilightKnight: In the daylight!
Dr SpaZZo: Outside? Daylight? Now you're just making words up

You can always call your ISP to find out.
I don't recall ever hearing about ISP support for online PS2s.

I've been playing PS2 online for a long time now.

If anyone wants to play me, I have these games to play online.

Socom 1 and 2

Tony Hawk 3, 4, and Underground

Madden 2004

My friend is obsessed with Socom online. I haven't yet bothered with the online adapter. I have maybe two games that support multiplayer online, and I'd probably only play one of them.

I'm through Sympatico

but it doesn't matter who the ISP is. (At least not in Canada)

You just need the network adaptor, and plug your LAN cable into that. DON'T USE DIAL UP!!! TRUST ME!!!

Some games work for dial up. but you'll still lose usually. Games like madden are best for dial-up. You actually have to have high speed to play Socom. It's a requirement.

So is SOCOM hard to play on line? Meaning do you own? Or do you get wasted easily?

does anyone have final fantasy XII yet? and if you do is it any good to play online? and i belive ISP supports any system really, i heard a rumour about it costing more money though, anyone know if thats true?

Queens Of The Stone Age-Someone's In The Wolf

Once you're lost in twillights's blue
You don't find your way, the way finds you...

Tempt the fates, beware the smile
It hides all the teeth, my dear,
What's behind them...

So glad you could stay
Forever

He steps between the trees, a crooked man
There's blood on the blade
Don't take his hand

You warm by the firelight, in twilight's blue
Shadows creep & dance the walls
He's creeping too..

So glad you could stay
Forever

you mean XI

and I dont own it, but i've played it at a friends place. It's not out for PS2 yet, only PC. But it is a sweet game.

And Johnny, you get wasted like nobody's business when you first start playing. You just gotta play it a bit to get good, but it's addicting so that's not a problem. Also, there are cheaters in SOCOM 1, but they made it so you can't cheat with gameshark etc... or something in the second one.
