New Years Eve

Post by Joey »

So what is everyone planning on doing for New Years Eve? Work was generous enough to give me New Years Eve and New Years Day off so I'm thinking of going up to Toronto with some friends and just partying and maybe check out some clubs. My friend is making "brownies" so it will be interesting ..

I have no plans as of yet. I can

A.) Hang out with my coupled friends and play games or something

B.) Go to a dance with good friend who is good fun

C.) Hang out with my best friend who will probably be mad at me if I don't do something with her

Can't decide. Probably will just stay home and sleep.

i'm not the clubbing type, so i wouldn't be able to recomend anything. i wanted to go to the party at the pheonix, but my friends don't like the music the edge plays, so i don't think they would want to go. and just so you know, i heard on the radio that you have to buy tickets in advance through ticketmaster for the party at the pheonix. just thought i'd give you a heads up.

I'm just gonna spend the night at home with my mommy and some food... and perhaps Melissa, if she wants. *looks in Melissa's general direction*

Am I the only one who has an actual party to go to? A friend of mine throws a big New Years party every so many years. He's even hired a bartender and everything. It's very casual though, should be fun and I'm not much of a party person.

And, I could go to a party. My boyfriend and his roommates are having one. But I don't want my mom to be alone on the first New Years after my dad's death.

My friends and I might be having a "Bad Suit" party, where you go to Value Village and get the worst looking suit you can find.

The Dirtbombs and The Sights are playing a show at The Magic Stick New Year's Eve, so I should be going to check that one out. Hey, they serve me liquor there, so I can't complain. Drinking whiskey sour's and listening to great music makes life worth living.

And life would be good if I didn't have to be at Best Buy New Year's Day at 4am.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.
