Hmm... this could be tough for me.

Best:
Pittsburgh... cos it was beyond fantastic. May have been labelled as a 3 Doors Down concert, but that was definitely an OLP concert. Hanging out with everyone was so much fun. Which brings me to Rochester, which I also wanna say was my best. Cos, although we nearly died so many times, the concert was average at best, and it was pure torture waiting in the cold, I had an amazing time with everyone. Then there was also the aforementioned run in with Jeremy in HMV in Toronto. That made a perfect trip even more perfect... and bizarre. *will never get over that insane coincidence*

I guess most of the best OLP moments for me were so great cos I got to share them with amazing friends.

Worst:
Hmm... probably the 8 hour, 8°F (-13°C) wait in Rochester... or the extreme heat and dehydration of the 3 hour wait in Pittsburgh. *hugs Stace a lot for bringing us water before OLP's set* (I so would've passed out without that.)

Best: Concert in Feb. at Mile One (sorta the only on I've been too)

Worst: Either thinking for the longest time that I wouldn't be able to go, or waiting outside in the freezing cold for our ride to pick us up... or maybe falling asleep five times in school the next day..

This is too hard ...

Best:
Hearing Talk Is Cheap and Not Afraid in Brussels when no-one knew about there being new songs and it was the biggest surprise. Also the whole experience of seeing OLP in enormous arenas in Canada and getting to go to soundchecks and meet lots of great Canadian fans too. And Raine doing an impression of Avril :D

Worst:
The evil people at the venue in Manchester who first told us we didn't have tickets and then trying to not let us in :( And STILL not having a copy of the DVD

Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

Best: Seeing OLP in Brussels, Belgium in the most amazing venue. Sitting onstage right in front of Steve Mazur. OLP surprised to see a group of about 30 Canadians amongst some very confused Belgians as we sand "Oh Canada."

Worst: The OLP Live CD/DVD. Never before have I seen such an inaccurate document of what it is like to see a band in concert. Overproduced, below-standard and altogether of low quality.

One more set of best and worst from me:

Best: OLP having the balls to whip out a *new* song on national TV.

Worst: Raine's Bon Jovi haircut.

best: playing a new song at Junos, that was awesome since Innocent was supposed to be played, I'm not a big fan of Innocent(too radio friendly)
and seeing them from 2nd row in Ottawa was very good

worst: how OLP doesn't really tour Canada anymore, I've been in Ottawa for 2-3 years, they've been to Ottawa once during that time
and then we see Nickelback heading out on a cross country tour after Christmas (20 some tour dates compared to OLP's 7-8 through Canada in Jan-Feb'03)

The reason they didn't tour Canada much is they feel they were overexposed there and wanted to concentrate on other places. USA and Europe. At least that was the reason for 01 and 02.

Believe it or not, OLP still are doing very well in Canada compared to other places they play. Actually believe it or not if I didn't go to where OLP were palying I would never see them much. They didn't play NYC for almost 3 years before they came back here. We lucked out in 02'. They actually played here 3 times. Don't know how we managed that one.

I feel love, I feel a power. It comes to me in the darkest hour. And I want to feel it again

i understand somewhat why they didn't tour Canada that much
I guess I'm just kind of upset that they don't tour it that often compared to other bands (Canadian bands)

maybe '04 and a new album will bring more Canadian dates,we'll see

Best:
It's coming up on Jan. 1, 2004. When we can maybe hope for OLP not to suck.

Worst:
They year 2003
"How can we justify spending so much on destruction and so little on life?" Matthew Good

"The white dove is gone, the one world has come down hard, so why not share the pain of our problems, when all around are wrong ways, when all around is hurt, i'll roll up in an odd shape and wait, untill the tide has turned.....with anger, i'm dead weight, i'm anchored"- IME, God Rocket (Into the Heart of Las Vegas) ^ Some say this song is about a terrorists thoughts before 911

"Pray for the sheep" Matt Good
"But it's alright, take the world and make it yours again" Matt Good

I felt it in the wind, and i saw it in the sky, i thought it was the end, i thought it was the 4th of July.

What's on Jan 1, 2004? I mean, besides it being the first day of the new year?

Oooh - whereabouts? I was in the 2nd row at that show and Nam was too. I was at the very end of the middle block on Steve's side. Nam was about 5 seats along from me, but I didn't know it was him 'til afterwards.
