But my computer guy insists it's much better.

FUCK!
I just got my computer back and NOTHING works.
He's coming back on Sunday to fix it.
At which point I will "fix" his own head into his own ass.

From my experience computer guys you hire usually dont do a good job. In my oppinion its better to do everything yourself or ask a friend you can trust. I swear my friends computer guy puts stuff on his computer to make it screw up every 2 months so he can fix it again.

DDR ram is faster
thats the difference.. essentially atleast
i believe theres also some architectural differences but i dunno for sure..
plus the DDR has to be compatabile with the existing motherboard and all that shit
i dunno if DDR is all that much structurally different in terms of pins, etc.... also from with discussions with my bro about this.. DDR wont run on a motherboard not capable of running anything less than PCI 133 ram.. but im not sure.. i think it mightve been sometlhing better than 133 i think.. whatevers a step up lol.. but that might have changed since then..
go fuck yourself.

Well, I decided that instead of waiting for his sorry ass to get here, I'd try to fix it. I downloaded a bunch of patches and drivers, and it now works.

I finished his job for him. Shouldn't he be paying me?
Anyways, the graphics are absolutely amazing!

I didn't realize how shiny everything was supposed to be! Plus, there's a whole shitload of other detail I was missing.
Should I be worried that my computer guy took my computer with my main hard drive just over half full, and it came back FULL?
So, I deleted some stuff and moved other stuff over to my other drive.

Okay, NOW I have to kill my computer guy.
You see, I have XP Pro, and Office XP Pro. I opened Word to start my homework, and BOOM! I have re-install Office XP Pro! Guess what? HE SAID I'D NEVER NEED IT, SO HE DIDN'T GIVE ME A COPY!
So, now my dad and I have to try to track him down and get his fat ass in here before he leaves TOMORROW!
And if I don't get this, I am absolutely FUCKED.

Yeah.
So, my computer "expert" gave me a copy of Office XP. Everything
should be fixed up now.
Perhaps if I didn't have so much homework to do, I'd be spending my time off from work to play games...
