As you may or maynot know I have lost my dad and uncle(within a year time) to Cancer and my mom was terminally ill before she died. The other day I was listening to this song and I just started crying. This time of year is rough for me, too many unplesent memories.
*hugs* to you too, Gail. And, yeah, he died in June. I know what you mean about listening to it and just crying... "Thief" makes me cry more times than not when listening to it... it's just too... perfectly... worded... unlike this sentence.

This is why I love OLP because there songs always have different meanings to everyone no matter which song it is everyone can realte to at least one of them.

I it is weird. I just saw the interview that Jermey and Raine did on Much for this song and Summersault. They gave some insit to the song and video. They said that they did not know till after she died that Mina knew she was dying because she never let her illness get her down. Also how she came to the studio when they were recording. it was in the studio they wrote the song for her. It is very moving the story.
