heh, by stud, i meant screw. *is dumb* cuz i heard that screws dunt leave room for swelling and it can turn out bad. and i dunt want the bump! :O :O :*( yeah i was gonna go with 18 but really id like to go smaller haha, but i know u cant pierce it with less than 18.

okay so for the screw then....is it like.....bizarre looking inside ur nose? like.....can u feel it inside? cuz that must be weird :O i cant really imagine wat its like :O

Nose piercings don't really swell .. the inside of your nose will swell a little bit but the screw just fits nicely against the side of your nose, it stays out of the way and keeps the piercing from moving around while it's healing. It's a bastard to get in and out though until you learn the little technique to twist it out ..

Screws don't cause the bumps. The bumps are caused if you move it around too much and bacteria sort of gets trapped, then creates a bump with the bacteria trapped inside. That can happen with a ring a nosebone or a screw. Any piercer that knows what they're doing won't pierce you with nosebone.

18 is the smallest you can go with nose piercings, do you know how tiny that is?

The screw doesn't look funny in your nose .. you'll be able to feel it the first couple of days while you get used to it .. after that you won't feel it at all. It sort of 'screws in' and hugs the side of your nose so unless you're standing there with a mirror trying to look at the inside of your nose you won't see it. They look very intimidating .. when I saw it I asked my piercer how the hell he was planning on getting that into my nose and he just laughed at me. :D Now that it's in .. it's a perfect fit.

Let me know how it goes! :)
Whichever side you get it pierced on, be prepared for that eye to start watering .. you'll seem like you're crying .. and my nose bled for a minute after it was pierced but nothing to be worried about .. the pain was gone within 45 minutes and it only hurt afterwards if I sneezed or forgot it was there and wrinkled my nose

My friend got her nose peirced, with a screw.

The first time she got it peirced, the peircer messed up for the first time in his career.

The second time she got it re-peirced right away, and apparently it hurt like a bitch.

Then the day after, she played with the screw, and it fell out and she tried getting it back in, but it just kept ripping the tissue. So she got it peirced AGAIN. :uh:

Yeah that's why you don't play around with fresh piercings .. not only is that increasing the risk for it to get infected and develop a boil, she's tearing the tissue, I did that by accident while eating with my lip ring and it bled like crazy .. some people aren't meant to have piercings

and yes nose piercings hurt
