Holes.

Oh, how I loved the book.

Yes, the movie was relatively crap, but ya gotta think about it.

It's a Disney movie.

There's not such thing as subtlety (sp?) in Disney movies.

Therefore I have no opinion on the movie.

I never read Holes, but I hated the movie. It was cheesy, boring and dumb.

The book was a classic.
The movie should have never been made.

Everything was better when it was just the books. The chamber of secrets sucked in my opinion. They took out some of my favorite parts (like the Death Day Party!!!) and chopped them out. Now I have incredibly low expectations for the next one and so if its good, I'll tell you - but I can't say I'm excited.

yeah.. the books rock, but then they came out with the philosopher's stone and it was really cheesy.. all flashy and stuff. this new movie looks a lot better, more grown-up i guess.

ron

SPOILER IN BLACK TEXT:
i am VERY angry that they killed off sirius in the 5th book, he was SO COOL! he could turn into a dog and was all dangerous and stuff...
i like mentos because they make me think of dave grohl.

i never got into the harry potter movies, but i think it was because, to see Harry Potter and the sorcerer's stone, we went on a field trip. it was a crappy theater, and it was long and i couldnt stay focused. thats just my opinion thought, no offense, but i think LOTR is much better :(
