Does Dido write her own lyrics, because i completely think her lyrics are quite awesome, and she could be quite possibly the only female artist i actually like.

I believe she does write her own material, and I think she's also written songs for numerous other artists.

I heard that Thank You and White Flag were written about the same guy (Boyfriend then Ex) so I guess she does.
