Maybe Avril had a tour booked in Europe, and OLP were looking to tour sooner than they could book, so they asked her if they could come along. Being a fan, would you say no?

OLP did not ask Avril if they could go on her tour! It was suggested by someone at their management company (apparently they both have the same one) and their initial reaction was 'no way'.

I just want to add my opinion of the situation because I don't want to stop listening to my favorite band because the main singer is helping a fellow artist. I think the reason why Raine is helping Avril is because he feels sorry for her because her music and lyrics suck. I think he wants to support Canadian music and helping Avril is his opportunity to help out. So I think the reason why he desided to help her is he feels sorry for her and hey crapy lyrics.

I don't think he feels pity for Avril... He's just getting a taste for producing sine the chance has been given to him.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.
