maybe i just have too much time on my hands. i dunno.
i'm right in the middle of watching the 'is anybody home' video [yesh. because i have nothing else to do at 12:15 am haha] and i noticed at the beginning when the girl goes to turn off the car, you can see the license plate and it looks like an ontario plate, but near the middle when she goes into the store, gets some water, puts money on the counter then turns around and takes the money again, the bill she puts down looks like an american one. or am i just imagining things? or do i need to get some sleep?

there have been lots of old discussions on the cc about this. if she put down a $5 canadian bill, it would be too much for a bottle of water. if she put down a loonie, it would be hard to pick up off the counter and look funny. so, they used an american bill. i remember some people saying it represents american/canadian relations or something like that. i don't really remember.
when i saw the name for this topic, i was expecting to see more than one strange thing about the video.

<p>And in my darkest moment, fetal and weeping. The moon tells me a secret. My confidant. As full and bright as I am, this light is not my own. A million light reflections pass over me. It's source is bright and endless. She resuscitates the hopeless. Without her we are lifeless satellites dreaming dreams. And as I pull my head out I am without one doubt. Don't want to be down here feeding my narcissism. I must crucify the ego before it's far too late. I pray the light lifts me out before I pine away.
i never really pay that much close attention to a video

Girl: Does he see me? Does he even know that I'm close by?
Guy: We're in the hallway, always at half past nine.
Girl: Would he ever get to know me? Would he take the time?

Oh man, thank god I'm not the only one that has no life. I downloaded that video and played it and rewound it, over and over again to see if it was an american or canadian bill. Pretty sure it's american.
Another thing, at the end, when the guy walks around the corner, is that raine or not..?
actually you can pay in American money in Canada. Unlike USA(where everything must be USA Currency)
The only thing with this video I find weird was that she turned off everything but the stove. Go figure.

if there is no random guy...doesnt that take away the whole point of the video?

... I'm guessing the whole video wasn't downloaded, that's all... download it again, cos you're missing the end.

ok so here's another question, what does the guy say on the radio right at the beginning when the alarm clock goes on just before the song starts? . . . if you ask me it sounds like he's saying 'absolutely free', anyone else have thoughts?
I never even thought about what he said there. I'll have to go watch it again.
I was listening to the radio, and I heard IAH on the radio for the first time. During the chorus, it kinda sounded like the vocals and the drums were being done inside an echo-y room filled with water. Is that just me, or does is it the shit radio around here?

At the second of third pre-chorus where the song slows down, and there's a shot of Raine singing, the crowdsurfer behind him gets swallowed by the audience.
