Radiohead concert on the radio tonight/this afternoon

Post by Soozy »

For Radiohead fans ...

they're playing a big show in London tonight and xfm are broadcasting the whole thing

You can listen online here:

http://www.xfm.co.uk/article.asp?b=onair&id=14824

I think they're going on stage at 9pm here which would be 4pm eastern time, though there's interviews and backstage stuff starting a couple of hours before.

If anyone manages to record the actual concert, and maybe the interviews too I'd love you lots (I can't record it myself cos I'll be there :D )
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.

I'm not a big Radiohead fan, but I wasn't using the computer so I thought I might as well put Xfm on and press record. I didn't listen to it, so I don't know if it worked out, I did check a couple of times and one time the connection was lost, so I'm missing about 25-30 minutes of the show. I still have to listen to the rest to see if the quality is any good, but if you're interested: contact me how to get it, msn is you're best bet to reach me (eelco_db@hotmail.com)

I would watch for a beautiful recording of it to turn up somewhere like http://www.sharingthegroove.org/msgboard/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=39

That was a great concert   . And being able to hear it without stupid people shouting for other people to sit down between all the songs, and just talking throughout whole songs will be even better :)

Thanks for recording it Eelco, but I think someone from the OLP UK board managed to get it all, so I'll check with her and also on the board Josh posted the link to (thanks Josh)
