Well, first off, you should copyright it, considering it is your work.

Actually, Britney isn't the only one that takes songs for others: Theres artists like Aerosmith who have done this as well.

That one lady does it for TONS of people (Diane - something) and hell she's written for Celine Dion too.

Pop-phenomenons are definitely ones to tap into though.....
