he also prides himself on being a admited hypocrit. Although i don't thin he see's it as entertainment, it's only the process of his art being taped

Why the hell would Matt want to make a documentry about the making of his next album? Isn't he all about the "Art without entertainment"?

He says he wants to show it to his grandkids.

It's true though that many of his ideas fall through, but I'm sure it's not without trying. He did manage to get that concert together for the BC fires.
I can't wait until the day schools are over-funded and the military is forced to hold bake sales to buy planes.

I though the one that he actually played at was the one he helped put together?

Either the way, I think the man tries to get a lot done. What other artist/band designs his/their own website? That in itself is a pretty ambitious endeavour. I've got it. He's a man with too many ideas.

Ok, I need some good Matthew Good (Band) quotes. Either in a song or just matt saying something. I need them for my profile. :)

I saw a guy with an Avalanche shirt in the mall yesterday. I was tempted to hug him.

but it has it's plusses. Not hearing my favorite songs five times a day on every radio station. I'd kind of rather be where i am than you. For if i were in your shoes, they probably would have gotten old by now.

Ok guys. I NEED to know the best couple of songs for their lyrics. I need the lyrics to show to my english teacher to prove him that he is good enough for me to do a report on.

I am thinking of:

Rico
Sort Of A Protest Song
The Fine Art of Falling

Any others?

oh man. i wouldn't ever pick rico. but then, that's just me.

personally, as far as lyrics go, i'd take:

running for home
suburbia
avalanche
prime time deliverance
anything from aob is pretty fucking stellar lyrically
