Heh, I caught one of Steve's ghetto ones with a turtle on one side, then had him autograph the other side. I still have it up on my wall.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

The dude who stood behind Duncan last tour used the turtle one too. The chic behind me was making eyes at him and he threw it and it landed on me. That's all I've got. And a Creed one Stappers threw at me.

It's source is bright and endless. She resuscitates the hopeless. Without her we are lifeless satellites dreaming dreams. And as I pull my head out I am without one doubt. Don't want to be down here feeding my narcissism. I must crucify the ego before it's far too late. I pray the light lifts me out before I pine away.

You and me both. I don't know how many times I've come SO close to catching Jer's... like inches close. :( Yet, I managed to get hit in the freaking head by my friend's stick a few days ago.

Warning: pay attention to the drummer at all times...

BAH! :crying:

There was also the girls next to me in Atlantic City (who I'd talked to the whole night) who got one that Jer threw literally to me.

And the many more that have come very very close. Someday. Someday I'll catch one.

I have a yellow Steve pick. I had two, but I lost one. The second one he gave to me at the show in Brussels in november. He recognized me from the show in Amsterdam, which was really cool.
I also have a drumstick, caught it in Hamburg. Actually a Canadian military dude caught it with his head and then I grabbed it (and ran away quickly).

If I had a credit card, I'd be all over those picks. Both of them.

Though, if I had to choose, I'd go for Emtee's.

 That guy was pretending to be Canadian, but since he was in the US army I don't think he really was :)

I have a yellow Steve pick that I caught with my chest at the ULU show and a drumstick that Jer threw to us in Manchester, but we didn't see coming so it hit Claire on the head! I also have an orange Raine pick and a black Steve pick that he must have given to me before one of the shows this year, cos I doubt I managed to actually catch one!
Open your eyes to nights and days, you close them up and float away
and somehow inbetween you've got to master lying to yourself
you back the cause, get out of school, you get a job, the job gets you
and somehow every day you end up serving somebody else
now if that ain't panic that you're feeling, then you damn well better start
you can drive it into that head of yours with the hammer in your heart.

And it's alriiiiiiiight now, take the world and make it yours again.
