The sound is off for everyone because even though Sony took almost a year to make it, they didn't manage to match up the sound.

You can still watch The Birdman. Just scan forward a bit after it stops at "Hopeless-", and eventually it will start up again. All you really have to miss is "-ly the" then it should kick in around "man starts..."

you can tell its not the dvd because where the dvd pauses or skips, if you rev back, then play through again, it wont skip or pause in the same spot. I had the same prob during birdman.

Mine skips in the same spot each time. I'll have to investigate this when I get home.

So, what do we do now? Are we just waiting for them to tell us to bring them back or what?

You're freakin KIDDING ME!?!?

Well.....ourladypeace.com says that if you're purchased one, just to hold onto it so I'm assuming they plan on working SOMEthing out. That's rediculous though.....I'm bitter.

Anybody else got a Toshiba DVD player??? Perhaps I'll give mine a test run first just to see if I have issues.

At the initial menu screen for the new DVD all I can hear are Jeremy's big drums, but the audio is fuzzy ("hot" for you audio techies) as all hell.

You figure they did this on purpose? It sounds like shit and is annoying.

Wow, this DVD really could have been done better. Its kind of lame, especially with the even more lame Live CD tie-in.

Glad I didn't pay for this.

Yes, it's supposed to be like that. They made the audio "hot" and added the lighting effect on the drum kit (at least, I think they added that after).
