man... judging by how the olp room looks... i wouldn't want them to do my room over...

i'd just say, gimme the comp and radio... if i have to hang and do stupid things with you all day (like belly dancing or wearing hockey pads that don't belong to me, but some smellly guy) so be it.

The guy had already painted chinese symbols on the wall (probably because of the life vid) and they painted over it with sky blue and shit. It didn't look like an OLP room, it looked like a Gravity room.

But then again, I have to say that not a lot of their room concepts I agree with but end up looking nice. A professionally designed room with free stuff is better then nothing I guess.

the sum41 one was horrible....with like those random toy balls and toilet seats on the walls and like shredded garbage bags...like wtf :freak:

i agree, the sum 41 one was horrible. i liked the avril lavigne room, and the christina aguilera one. the ashanti one was nice but not my style.

Maaan, seriously? Chinese symbols rock, I wanted them on my wall for a while, before I gave up and decided they were too complicated. :freak:

Gonna Meet A Rock Star

The OLP one is when the guy gets to go see them at Summersault. He gets to sit down and talk to the guys, meet a shitload of other bands, sit ON STAGE for the show and hear two new songs (which would later make it on SM).

For who ever asked the show like this in the states was called Rock The House. It was on VH1 and they would redo one room in the person's home to reflect said rocker. Also the star would be in the person's home when they returned. The Tommy Lee one was cool. He gave the guy an old Drum Set and they made a coffee table out of it. From what I remeber they had Tommy Lee, Sammy Hagar, Usher, Goo Goo Dolls and I think one or two others. I said if I ever move into a home I am making a room deicated to OLP and U2.

This show looks like a combintation of Rock The House and Becoming( from MTV-where you become the star.

I agree with who ever said the OLP GMARS was cool. I only saw it when I was visiting a friend a few years ago. I love how Jeremy gave the guy a tour of everything. That was funny.

P.S. If this kid is supoose to be Raine. When the hell did Raine start doing Belly Dancing. :wtf:

I missed that boat.

The always get the people to do random and weird things to waste time.
they brought the Ashanti girl to a petting farm.
the Sum 41 guy rode on a tandom bike with Amanda
they had the sean paul guy make a pizza.
The things they do arn't supposed to have anything to do with the artist. or at least I hope not.

Out of curoisty, is Gonna Meet a Rock Star on the Hub? That would be exellent.

I got the chance to re-do my room a little while ago and for a long time I tried to figure out a way to get some sort of OLP theme, other then putting posters all over the wall. I couldnt really decide on something to do, so I am interested in how the room turns out.

forgive me for ranting, but I don't know if they filmed all these before the season began, which means it could go on for another season. When they did the Pink room they had pink give the girl a message and it was from the time pink was at much. and that wasnt too long ago. they had to have done the room after pink was at much which means they must have filmed it after the season had began. If that makes sense. I think people are going to be surprised out of a one day room make over even if they know its going to happen, so they may continue with the show. you never know.
