Well, I'm not going to bother looking up things for a dream set up. I'd waste way too much dream money.
Here's something cool... I'll probably be preforming at my school's next "Coffee House". I have to find out yet if they care if I use electric and am loud, or if they want quieter entertainment, with my acoustic. I'd rather go electric, since then I could show off some guitar stuff, because with acoustic all I'd be showing off is my crappy voice.
What I really want to do is play Big Dumb Rocket live. I don't know why, but I really do.

Yeah, I just took a break from playing my guitar. I'm trying to work out some mad lixx for my older songs, then mellow out for my more recent, At The Drive-In inspired songs.
I faced death. I went in with my arms swinging. But I heard my own breath and had to face that I'm still living. I'm still flesh. I hold on to awful feelings. I'm not dead... My chest still draws breath. I hold it. I'm buoyant. There's no end.

Blah. I hate my guitar and my amp. They hum too loud and there's really nothing I can do about it that doesn't require money or some kinda technical knowhow.
Although, if I stand a couple steps away and stand kind of diagonally facing the wall with the t.v on it, the humming isn't too bad...

Chromatics will help you in developing your coordinatione. Its essential that you practice them. When you play through them, make sure that they ring clearly. Also, I recommend that you practice with a metronome
Chromatic ex( This is just a basic example)
e------------------------------------------1-2-3-4-
B----------------------------------1-2-3-4---------
G--------------------------1-2-3-4----------------
D------------------1-2-3-4------------------------
A----------1-2-3-4--------------------------------
E--1-2-3-4------------------------------------------
e--4-3-2-1-------------------------------------------
B-----------4-3-2-1----------------------------------
G-------------------4-3-2-1--------------------------
D----------------------------4-3-2-1-----------------
A-------------------------------------4-3-2-1---------
E----------------------------------------------4-3-2-1

i got a BOSS Metal Zone pedal for christmas. I like it so far, although i would have prefered something a little more fun then a distortion pedal. But a distortion pedal is kinda a must

thanks.
Yup.
and mix the chromatics up
Instead of going 1-2-3-4....go -1-3-2-4. or -2-3-1-4. Move up and down the fret board, skip strings, play backwards. Improvise mate
