and how can you change the colour of your links?

When you're customizing your journal, your first choice to make is whether you want the Old System (S1) or the New System (S2).

Awww, yay! Just for that I will just tell you what's in mine and you can change it appropriately. I use generator, and S1.

Ok, right before the "}"'s, there is usually something like "background" or "table". See really, if you want yours just like me, all you gotta do it change the background (which you've done), the colors of the links and the table (there are hex codoes on the lj site if you need help with that), and title of your journal (which is up near the top).

what about all the colours and fonts and stuff...:freak:

and does anyone know how to make the comments links like, one link for new comments and one for veiwing other comments, but in the same sentance? so there is no number involved...wait, i'll try to find one as an example.

Just replace what you want where mine says "lay your pencil to the porous paper" and "laid pencil to porous paper". The links are where it says...

A:link {
color: #FFFFFF;
text-decoration:none}
A:visited {
color: #FFFFFF;}
A:active {
color: #999999;}
a:hover {
color: #999999;
text-decoration: none;
height: 0;}
body, tr, td {
font-size: 8pt;
font-family: Georgia;
text-align: justify;
color: #CC0000;

it's not that bad if you know remotely what you're doing. i tried to go too much indepth at first, and tried to write the whole comments link override by myself with a few references and the variables list. it worked but it took me a day lol. i understood what i was doing from then on though
