I watched Saved by the Bell! I don't have cable but they play episodes on KDOC in the afternoons. My boyfriend mocks me but I don't really care.
Anybody watch all those other shows that were based on the Saved by the Bell format (i.e. California Dreams)? After a while they got really lame (i.e. Saved by the Bell: The New Class) but the earlier ones were alright.
I actually went to a taping of California Dreams (the one with the tea that Sam made or whatever)...

sadly enough, I find myself watching Cailfornia Dreams sometimes too. Ya know, that one chick with the dark,short hair wound up being Joey's girlfriend Kathy on "Friends", the one that Chandler winds up stealing haha.

Sly was the shit......on California Dreams. I love the one where Sly decides to become a car-salesmen and sells a freakin lemon to one of them tools (I can't recall which one bought the car).

The one who did the singing in the earlier episodes? I don't think that's the same actress from Friends, maybe they just look similar.

My favorite California dreams episode was the one with that arcade game called "Cyclops" and everytime they poked him in the eye, the game would go "OW! My EYE!" is some cheesy robot voice. :lol:

Remember Kathy was only around on "Friends" for a short time, I remember checking up on their names and I'm pretty sure they're the same.

According to the Internet Movie Database the actress who played on California Dreams was named Heidi Lenhart and the actress who played Kathy on those episodes of Friends is named Paget Brewster. Two different actresses, but I can see how someone would make the mistake of thinking they were one and the same. They do look similar and the girl from California Dreams has been in very little else recently besides made-for-TV movies.
