"Line & Sinker"

I'm lovin 'This Is How It Goes', 'Cut The Curtains', 'Prisoners Of Today', and 'Voices of Violence'...

actually, those, plus Try Honesty are basically the only songs off the album that's I've played in... about a week or 2.

As for them being labelled as "punk"... Sorta, not really. I have no idea how to explain that, other than just get the album off a friend (or buy your own would be even nicer, ;)) listen to it, and judge for yourself.
"if the nuremberg trials were applied to us foreign policy, every us president since 1945 would have been hanged." noam chomsky.

...and this is me hanging on / i'd burn our initials in the sun if it would shine / anxiety chokes me like razor wire / if hate's in your heart man, you'll take what you're given / wake up / i'm not the only one / it's never goodbye / go ahead and play dead / if everyone's a casualty, then take your time, there ain't no trouble / these wounds they will not heal / ambition can be a tricky thing / what the hell do i know about rape anyway? / this is not what i hoped for / ain't it so weird how it makes you a weapon / who will be there to tell me how stupid i am? / those living for death will die by their own hand / and it's me that I am spying on / pick up the pieces and live with the stars / hurry up and wait / things have never been so swell / they're always the ones who slowly drift / be great / ...and this is my world.

almost famous wrote:and then my friend told me they were going to play a show here with alexisonfire. but its already happened. blah.

hmmm, i didnt know who they were until recently, but alexisonfire was here a couple weeks ago, so that must have been who they were playing with. oh well, missed that.

all ive heard is try honesty, but thats an awesome song. its just fun. i can see the definate opportunity for it to be overplayed, but that hasnt happened yet here, so im still liking it.

Yea, Billy Talent have what it takes to be big. I've heard that from a variety of people. I don't really want them to be huge, though ...

I remember Death From Above, with only the bass player and drummer. I thought they were pretty good. :)

Okay, you know what I just realized? As I was listening to 'This Is How It Goes', there's a scream in the background, right before the 'unscrew my head' part...

Any story about that, or what? :freak:

Woooo! Billy Talent are amazing live. I saw them once in May and then just in September. I love those guys. Ben is kinda like a mini Raine. Their style of music is different, but there are still alot of similarities.

No, you won't. None of you will. You'll all just sit around and ignore me. Then I'll cry. but I'll forget about it later.

I'm so bitter. And sick. Image

hummm...I am listening to it now, and I don't hear anything.

But I downloaded it, and I am not sure if I necessarily have the right version (their demo is all over Kazaa)

Goodbye you liar,
Well you sipped from the cup but you don't own up to anything
Then you think you will inspire
Take apart your head
(and I wish I could inspire)
Take apart your demons, then you add it to the list.

I just bought the cd, and it's great. I don't really see how ben is a "mini Raine" though....
